University

The WSEI University Library collects scientific resources in various fields of knowledge in traditional (paper) and electronic form (e-books, online journals and electronic knowledge bases). The Library keeps a Repository of scientific achievements of the University’s academic staff and supports an anti-plagiarism platform. The library has two reading rooms at the disposal of students and teaching staff. It is computerized, it uses the PATRON 4 program and has a permanent connection to the Internet. The library catalogs are made available through the WSEI website. Also ordering and reserving loans is done online via the Internet.

A spacious reading room with separate sections:

main reading room with workstations for 50 people
a reading room with the texbook collection intended for quiet work for 25 people
computer workstations for accessing the collection by two librarians simultaneously – using the PATRON 4 computer program
computer workstations for browsing computer library catalogs, ordering library collections online and using digital knowledge bases – 12 computers, of which 4 computers are adapted to the work of people with various disabilities (special computer tables for people in wheelchairs, illuminated magnifiers for test magnification, touch screens, specialized wrist rests and mouse pads)
computer stations with software in English

storage of textbooks

Separate storage for library collections with modern shelving

Rooms for duplication of teaching materials, where modern copying equipment is in operation

OpenSTAX – All OpenStax manuals are available as open educational resources. They can be used by anyone, with no charge and no need to log in. OpenStax books have been released under an open CC BY 4.0 license, which allows free downloading, copying and modifying of copies.
