About

Computer Science is one of the fastest changing industries. Along with dynamism, the demand for specialists in this field is also growing. Their salaries are also growing. Computer science is a science that is both technical and scientific in nature. It is worth mentioning that it has been the most popular field of study in the group of technical sciences for many years. The reason for this, in addition to high earnings already during the studies, is the opportunity to carry out your own projects and develop yourself in many areas of Computer Science. If you are passionate about computers, technology, programming, a career in IT is a good idea for your professional future.

Why choose this field of study?

The primary goal of the field of study is for students to acquire expanded skills in programming, data processing, software engineering, development, implementation and security of information systems complemented by managerial skills. This unique combination allows our graduates to undertake tasks in interdisciplinary teams implementing IT projects and to take a competitive position in the labor market. Both external and internal stakeholders are involved in the preparation of the educational concept. During its development, the opinions of representatives were taken into account: university lecturers, employers, representatives of IT companies, students, graduates and managers. The study process is complemented by professional internships implemented from the 2nd semester. During the internship, students have the opportunity to acquire the skills of practical application of knowledge acquired during their studies, as well as work in a group and strengthen interpersonal communication skills. Students also have access to highly specialized laboratories of applied computer science, including a cyber-security lab that is unique in the country. Graduates of the bachelor's degree in Computer Science are therefore prepared to enter the workforce or continue their education in a second degree program.
