Practical profile

Professional internships are aimed at:

  • Deepening and broadening the skills acquired by the student/practitioner during his/her studies and acquiring new skills through practical solution of real professional tasks (including preparation of projects);
  • Expanding the knowledge acquired during the studies;
  • Acquiring the skills and behaviors needed in the work environment (teamwork, due attitude to work and other co-participants with whom the work is performed);
  • Familiarizing trainees with the organization and functioning of the institution and its units related to the implementation of tasks directly related to the field of study and specialization;
  • Familiarization with the technical, technological and IT equipment of the institution;
  • Getting to know the professional environment, principles of professional ethics, holistic and individualized approach to people, in the process of implementation of professional internship.

Duration of internship

Implementation of professional internships conducted by the Employer at the University (Part I)

Implementation of professional internships conducted by the Employer at the University follows the following scheme:

  1. 25 didactic hours carried out at the University: introduction to professional internship, background issues and verification of learning outcomes;
  2. 75 didactic hours carried out at the University – development of an outline and a project related to the field of study, designated and specified by the employer, and verification of learning outcomes;
  3. 70 didactic hours carried out at the University – development of a project related to the field of study, designated and specified by the employer, and verification of learning outcomes.

Implementation of professional internships with the Employer (Part II)

Implementation of professional internship at the Employer includes 790 didactic hours and takes place in the second and fourth semesters, respectively, after the completion of the didactic classes, with at least 300 clock hours of professional internship to be completed in the second semester of study.

Professional internship implementation schedule

Year 3, 5th semester: 50 clock hours to be completed over a period of 1 month (or longer).

After completing the internship, the following should be submitted to the Career and Student Affairs Office to room 206:

  1. a contract signed by the institution
  2. completed practice diary
  3. an opinion signed by the company’s internship supervisor
  4. credit materials worked out during the practice in the form of (to choose one of the following):
  5. case study scenario (undergraduate studies)
  6. scenario of a diagnostic survey study (undergraduate studies)
  7. scenario of a prevention/information/education program (undergraduate studies).

  3. 70 didactic hours carried out at the University – development of a project related to the field of study, designated and specified by the employer, and verification of learning outcomes.

Implementation of professional internship at the Employer (Part II)

The implementation of professional internship at the Employer includes 600 clock hours (790 didactic hours) and takes place in the second, fourth and sixth semesters, respectively, after the completion of the didactic classes, with a minimum of 200 clock hours of professional internship in each of the three semesters.

Implementation of professional internships conducted by the Employer at the University (Part I)

Implementation of professional internships conducted by the Employer at the University follows the following scheme:

  1. 20 didactic hours carried out at the University (development of an outline of a task related to the field of study, designated and specified by the employer).
  2. 60 didactic hours carried out at the University in the fourth semester until June 30 of a given year (development of a project related to the solution of a problem based on the indications of employers, having a practical character with and verification of learning outcomes).

Implementation of professional internship at the Employer (Part II)

Implementation of professional internship at the Employer includes 300 clock hours (400 didactic hours) and takes place in the second semester of study.
