COOKIE POLICY AND INTERNET TECHNOLOGIES USED

This Cookie Policy, supplements the Privacy Policy regarding the processing of personal data using cookies, pixels (pixel codes) and other Internet technologies and the processing of personal data through them, applied on the Administrator’s official website located at www.wsei.pl (hereinafter: the Website).

GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored in the Service User’s terminal device (e.g. computer, tablet, smartphone) and are intended for use on the Website. Cookies are not harmful to Users or their devices, do not adversely affect their operation. They also do not cause configuration changes in the end devices or in the software installed on these devices.
  2. The Service uses two main types of cookies: “session” (session cookies) and “permanent” (persistent cookies). “Session” cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User’s terminal device until the User leaves the website or shuts down the software (web browser). “Permanent” cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the time specified in the parameters of the cookies or until they are deleted by the User.
  3. Web browsing software (Internet browser) usually allows the storage of cookies on the User’s terminal device by default. Users of the Website can change their settings in this regard, as the Internet browser allows the removal of cookies.   4. The Service may use, among other things:

    • „performance” – enabling the collection of information about how the websites are used;
    • „Functional” – enabling ‘remembering’ the User’s selected settings and personalizing the User’s interface, e.g. with regard to the User’s selected language or region of origin, font size, appearance of the website, etc.;
    • „advertising” – to provide Users with advertising content tailored to their interests, visits to websites, also for remarketing purposes using so-called third party cookies.

SCOPE OF DATA COLLECTED

  1. Cookies identify the data of the device and browser used to browse the website – they allow, for example, to find out whether a particular device has already visited the website. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the end device and a unique number.
  2. As part of the Website, the Administrator may process data about how you use the Website via a computer, tablet or smartphone or other device through which you access the Websites. Some of this data, in combination with other data, may constitute personal data.
  3. By means of the Internet technologies used, the Administrator may process, for example:
    • device data: device type/model, unique device identifiers, MAC address, IP address, operating system, operating system version and device settings, language set, screen resolution, browser version and type;
    • log/events: time of use of the Website, search data, and any information stored in cookies that uniquely identifies a User’s browser or account;
    • location data: IP address, User location data obtained through various positioning technologies – (longitude and latitude, ISP e.g. Play/Orange, other location data provided by the User), such as GPS, Wi-Fi access points or other sensors that can provide data near the device (after consent to location);
    • other data about the use of the Website that may be processed if the User visits or uses the Administrator’s websites, such as the source of entry under the UTM, the advertising campaign from which the User entered the website, referrals, links clicked by the User, the number of clicks and views of the dynamic content of the website, what ads the User saw and where the User saw them.
  4. In connection with accessing the Administrator’s Website, data from the end device is processed in an automated manner in connection with its call or activity on the website, whereby the Administrator evaluates certain factors about individuals in order to predict future behavior by analyzing their behavior, but without making significant decisions about the User.

OBJECTIVES AND LEGAL BASIS OF INTERNET TECHNOLOGIES USED

  1. The Administrator uses applied Internet technologies to:
    • ensuring the operation, security and reliability of the Website;
    • adapting the content of the Website to the User’s preferences and optimizing the use of the websites, improving its own website (appropriate display of the website, adapting it to the individual needs of the User);
    • analysis and creation of statistics that help to understand how the Users of the Website use the websites, which allows to improve their structure and content.
  2. The use of cookies or similar technologies on the Administrator’s websites is carried out with the User’s consent expressed by using the site without changing the browser settings for analytical, statistical, customization of the site to the individual needs of Users. By doing so, the User agrees that cookies or other similar technologies will be placed on his/her terminal device (computer, tablet, smartphone) and the Administrator’s use of the information stored in cookies.
  3. At any time, the User may withdraw his/her consent or object to the processing of his/her personal data by changing the settings of his/her browser or by using other ways to change the cookie settings.
  4. The default setting of most search engines is to accept all cookies. However, you can change the settings on a search engine so that it requests acceptance of cookies, to accept or reject only certain types of cookies, or to reject all of them.
  5. Please note that some cookies are necessary for the Administrator’s websites to function, and deleting or disabling them may reduce their functionality.
  6. Cookies or other technologies are used automatically, which does not mean that on the Administrator’s websites they are used with the intention of automatic decision-making or to produce a similar legal effect, which may harm the interests or privacy of Users.

FUNCTIONALITIES OR TECHNOLOGIES OF EXTERNAL SUPPLIERS

  1. The Administrator may use services and tools of third-party suppliers on the Website, in particular to the extent related to the provision of services available through the Website (e.g. chat services, callpage).
  2. The Administrator’s websites or fanpages may use plug-ins of third-party social networks, e.g. Facebook, (plug-ins  e.g. “Like” “Share”), marked with the commonly known icons of these networks. For this purpose, code referring to the above networks is placed on the relevant pages. Content from the Administrator’s websites may be sent to this site or to this service. Depending on the User’s privacy settings, it may be visible publicly or privately (e.g., only to friends, followers or to anyone who accesses the User’s profile). Using these plug-ins, Users can, as a logged-in user of these services, share the page they are on within these services. However, the plug-in will only be loaded if Users install the corresponding plug-in using the activation icon. The content of the plug-in will then be transmitted by the corresponding social network directly to the User’s terminal device and will be displayed there. If the appropriate checkbox is selected, this activation will be permanently in effect when the User visits the Administrator’s Website. Users can deactivate the buttons at any time by clicking on “Undo.” Without proper activation, the plug-ins will remain inactive and no connection to social networks will be established.
  3. The Administrator’s websites may also contain external links, such as to its Facebook page. The Administrator has no control over what data is collected by the provider of social networking plug-ins or pages and how it is processed. For information on the purpose and scope of data collection, including the cookies used there, their further processing and use by third-party providers, as well as the Users’ rights and the privacy settings options of these providers, the User may consult the data protection notice of the relevant provider.

TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EEA

In connection with the possibility of sharing data collected by cookies with the Administrator’s third-party suppliers, the Administrator informs that some data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Such data transfer may take place on the basis of standard contractual clauses in accordance with the decision of the European Commission, or on the basis of the User’s express consent.

OBJECTION AND WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT TO THE INSTALLATION OF COOKIES

  1. You may withdraw your consent or object to the Administrator’s or its partners’ use of data contained in cookies or other similar technologies at any time. In this case, you should use the tool to manage your consent to cookies by clicking on the cookie banner or by changing your browser settings.
  2. You can change the settings in your browser to require acceptance of cookies, to accept or reject only certain types of cookies, or to reject all of them.   3. Cookies can be deleted by the User after they have been stored by the Administrator, through the appropriate functions of the Internet browser or other tools for this purpose.
  4. Please note that some cookies are necessary for the functioning of the websites, and deleting or disabling them may reduce their functionality.
  5. If the so-called opt – out cookie (which serves only to identify the User’s objection – lack of consent) is placed as a result of changing the cookie settings, it should be noted that this cookie works only in the browser with which it was saved. If all cookies are deleted or the User uses a different browser or a different terminal device, the opt – out settings must be made again.
