Dr Oksana Adamyk from Loughborough University with a lecture on AI at WSEI University

‘Artificial Intelligence Challenges in Higher Education: Ethical Principles and Frameworks for Solutions’ – a lecture on this topic was delivered at our University on Tuesday by Dr Oksana Adamyk, Assistant Professor at the UK’s Loughborough University.

Dr Oksana Adamyk explained the risks to higher education associated with the use of AI, spoke about current regulations regarding the responsible use of AI in academia, ethical principles, as well as best practices and applications of AI in higher education.

- Young people are not aware that artificial intelligence can be incorporated and that up to 55 per cent of the answers they get from the internet may be so-called ‘fakes’ - explained Dr Oksana Adamyk.

- The lecture was prepared for both students and staff of WSEI University. It was a really fantastic meeting with a lot of useful knowledge - says dr hab. Tomasz Wołowiec, Professor at WSEI University, Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation. - It was also an opportunity to discuss the establishment of cooperation in the area of projects and joint research.

As Vice-Rector Wolowiec announces, Dr Oksana Adamyk will return to our University with other lectures on the topic of Artificial Intelligence.
