Regulations on requesting refunds

THE REFUND OF THE TUITION FEE CAN BE REQUESTED UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:

  1. The candidate was refused a visa at the Polish Embassy and can present the visa refusal letter which pertains to the current Admission Documents the candidate had received. In case of the visa refusal, fill out the refund form (see below) and submit your request to studyenglish@eiu.edu.pl
  2. If the chosen program does not open due to a small number of candidates who had applied, the University informs the candidates of the possibility to apply for a refund or defer admission to the next intake. In case of receiving such an email, the candidate can request a refund of paid tuition fees.
  3. If the candidate was unable to secure a visa appointment at the Polish embassy, he/she can apply for a refund of their tuition fees once the admission documents issued to the candidate expire, i.e. in March (for those who applied for the spring semester) or in October (for those who applied for the fall semester). In this case, the Admission office contacts the relevant embassy to confirm that the visa application was not submitted in your name. After a positive confirmation from the embassy, we proceed with the refund request. PLEASE NOTE: the response from the embassy can take from 1-2 week(s).

IMPORTANT:

  • The refund process takes up to a month and we always send the refund confirmations by email.
  • If the presented visa refusal appears fake, the Admission office contacts the Polish Embassy to confirm its authenticity. If the Embassy confirms that the visa refusal is fake and the candidate received a visa, the refund process is halted and the proper authorities are informed.
