The University of Economics and Innovation in Lublin was established by permission of the Ministry of Education on October 24th, 2000. WSEI is registered in the register of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW) of non-public higher education institutions and the association of non-public higher education institutions under No. 196. The founder of the University is the Polish Foundation of Centers for Economic Development “OIC Poland”, whose mission is to prevent unemployment and promote economic development through the design and implementation of educational and consulting programs.
On October 1, 2022, the University of Economics and Innovation in Lublin received the status of an Academy and the name of the University was changed to WSEI University in Lublin. The University changed its status due to the latest evaluation of the academic units. Its results allow us to join the top group of Academic Universities in the country.
As one of the few Universities in Poland, WSEI received in the results of parameterization in the discipline “Technical Informatics and Telecommunications” category “A”, and in the discipline “Economics and Finance” category B+.
Our lecturers have high academic, professional and ethical qualifications. They adjust the level of education to the individual capabilities of students and the requirements of the modern labor market.
It is applied at WSEI University on a daily basis. We provide our students with friendly study conditions that take into account their individual economic opportunities, interests and needs.
