Industry 4.0 upskilling for SMEs

Project objective

The aim of the project is to build the potential of highly qualified SMEs by developing modern competency-based curricula adapted to the expectations of the labor market in the area of ​​information, communication and digital technologies.

Target groups

  • SME employees interested in upskilling or reskilling to meet the competency and skill requirements required for digital traction and Industry 4.0 opportunities.
  • Unemployed young adults interested in upskilling their Industry 4.0 skills and digital competences.
  • Universities need to create appropriate lifelong learning programmes and curricula to meet the specific needs of SMEs.
  • VET providers need innovative train-the-trainer programmes and new tools to upskill and reskill SME employees to meet the practical requirements that their professions require to meet today’s and tomorrow’s working life.

Project results

3 curricula in the field of technical competences, analytical competences and life skills, divided into 20 training modules adapted to training in the field of upgrading and retraining SMEs, offered by representatives of educational institutions – including universities.
