Recruitment

Candidates for admission to the Doctoral School / Doctoral Seminar should have a master’s degree, a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent, or in exceptional cases justified by the highest quality of academic achievement, a person who is a graduate of a first degree program or a student who has completed the third year of a uniform master’s degree program.

Admission to the Doctoral School / Doctoral Seminar is carried out through a competition. In order to be admitted to the recruitment process, a complete set of required documents must be submitted on time. Admission to the School is determined by the place on the ranking list, which is determined by the number of points obtained in the competitive selection procedure prepared by the admission committee separately for each discipline.

The candidate submits the following required documents:

• application for admission to the Doctoral School indicating the specific scientific discipline and the selected subject area and supervisor(s),
• photographs,
• a completed personal questionnaire,
• motivation letter including justification for the choice of the indicated subject area,
• CV containing information about completed studies, scientific interests, professional experience, description of scientific activities and other activities (postgraduate studies, specialized, qualifying and improvement courses, professional and scientific internships, social, student, volunteer activities, etc.),
• a diploma of graduation from a master’s degree program or equivalent, or information confirmed by the university about the planned date of completion of such studies,
• a supplement to the graduation diploma or a list of completed subjects,
• list of academic achievements (including copies of academic publications).

Applications of candidates who meet the formal requirements are evaluated against the following criteria:

• The final grade on the diploma,
• predisposition to scientific work (interview).
• Previous scientific and research achievements (publications, participation in scientific conferences, experience in scientific and research work).
