Digital Training for Social and Healthcare Home Staff in Emergency Situations, DIGITRAINING CARE

Implementation period

28.02.2022 - 28.02.2024

Project objective

The project aims to improve the quality of home care by providing opportunities for developing knowledge and skills for people caring for patients in the home environment. For this purpose, an easy-to-use and easily accessible application will be developed, containing training materials grouped into so-called “pills”.

Planned activities

The educational materials to be prepared in the project are:

  • 10 “case studies” describing the main problems that arise in home care and situations where additional training and increasing the skills of home care workers is particularly necessary.
  • A compendium, or so-called “knowledge pills”, will be developed based on the needs analysis in the form of a video containing methods for dealing with and preventing the problems described in the case studies.
  • A mobile application containing all the training materials developed as part of the project;
  • Development of instructions – as part of the project, a series of interviews and pilot surveys will be conducted among the relevant target groups in each partner country, aimed at evaluating and measuring the impact of the developed materials and applications. Based on the results of the aforementioned interviews and surveys, national reports, a final report and instructions for using the application will be prepared.

Target groups

  • patients’ relatives who provide palliative care at home but do not have enough specialist knowledge on the subject,
  • employees of social and palliative care centres who often do not have specialist education and detailed medical knowledge,
  • hospice employees who will have the opportunity to renew their practical knowledge and improve their professional qualifications.
