Project objective

  • The aim of the conference and workshops is to promote and cooperate between universities, secondary schools and the employer community in the broadly understood field of contract logistics in the city of Lublin and its surroundings.
  • Integration of the academic community and employers.
  • Learning by students about the expectations of employers in terms of knowledge and skills necessary to undertake work in various logistics positions.
  • Developing common guidelines for improving the quality of the education program in the field of logistics – making the course more practical – updating with current problems and various new forms and aspects of work in the contract logistics environment.
  • Developing common methods for effectively solving problems in logistics with practitioners – which can be implemented as methods of acquiring skills and competences.

Planned activities

  • Ceremonial opening of the conference, Lublin City Office – will present investments and initiatives that have an impact on the developing logistics in the region, presentation of tourist, cultural and investment attractions of the Lublin region to encourage students to stay after graduation. Representative of the Airport – Logistics from the perspective of airport and cargo development. Representative of Employers of the Lublin Region – Contemporary logistics problems from the perspective of Lublin enterprises.
  • Logistics workshops for Groups of students and pupils will be held on the premises of selected employer companies that deal with logistics processes. The workshops will be combined with a presentation of the company and its tour.
  • WSEI University discussion panel, selected employers will summarize the workshops.

Students and pupils from Poland and abroad

Project results

  • Participants will have the opportunity to gain practical skills and insight into the real challenges of the logistics industry, which will increase their attractiveness on the job market.
  • Companies, in turn, will be able to establish contacts with potential employees and identify the best competencies in the field of logistics. This is a win-win situation for both participants and companies.
