Professional profile

Active in working with business, developing innovative solutions, providing feasibility studies, preparing implementations of modern technologies and leading many projects and implementation teams. He has completed more than 300 projects and implementations of complex systems in the field of ICT. Expert of NCBR, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, PARP, RPO, MEN, member of KIS under the Ministry of Development.

Scientific profile

Director of the Institute of Informatics and Innovative Technologies and the Doctoral School of WSEI University in Lublin. Manager and expert in more than a dozen research and investment projects (including Horizon 2020, NCBR). His research interests focus on issues in the areas of computer science, electronics, electrical engineering and manufacturing engineering, in particular the application of non-invasive imaging techniques, numerical modeling, image processing and analysis, tomography, software engineering, knowledge engineering, artificial intelligence and computer complex systems. He is the author of more than 500 scientific publications, monographs and conference papers, and numerous patents. He has been ranked by Stanford University, in cooperation with Elsevier and SciTech publishing, in the prestigious TOP 2% of the world's most influential people in science for lifetime scientific activity and for the years 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Teaching experience

Among other things, he teaches classes in IT projects, software engineering, programming, ERP systems and artificial intelligence. He has served as a representative for Information Technology Studies. He has prepared curricula for English-language studies, master's degree programs and doctoral studies.
