The essence of the event is to present new opportunities and difficulties related to introducing innovations in Polish and foreign kindergartens and schools. Diverse possibilities of using new, improved and non-traditional solutions in kindergartens and schools are intended to increase the quality and effectiveness of teachers' teaching and educational work, but may also threaten and hinder this process.
The main goal of the event is to exchange experiences, reflections and engage in pedagogical discourse among scientists, students and practitioners dealing with early childhood education on the types of innovations, their importance, ways of including them in the educational process and resisting their use. Thanks to the need for innovation, the work of a preschool and early school teacher becomes creative, constitutes "art", gains shine, loses the signs of routine, formulaic and duplication, and is ahead of its time. Nowadays, innovation is not only about discovering new methods, forms and teaching resources, but also about searching for "traces-traces" of new connections, new meanings, including what is existing and close to the two entities participating in the educational process.
The topic of the meeting and its uniqueness concerns presenting the latest innovative theoretical and practical solutions in Polish and foreign kindergartens and schools.
The key to education "towards otherness" should be the support of children's development by teachers-innovators. Showing the importance of innovation as an open perspective for creating situational, action, task-exercise, and interpretative space through the use of various forms of activity is to be the foundation for practicing a diverse methodology that is active, sensitive and full of experiences.
