WSEI University authorities and High School management honoured for their activities for the development of Lublin

WSEI University Chancellor Teresa Bogacka was recognized for her commitment to community development and patriotic and cultural activities. Diplomas of appreciation were also awarded to the Dean of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences, the management of the High Schools of our University, and Sports Director at KS Lublinianka.

The Social Committee of Residents of Lublin - Bronowice and the Bronowice District Board honored individuals who have shown outstanding commitment to the development of the local community and patriotic and cultural activities. The list of awarded representatives of cultural and educational circles included:

  • Teresa Bogacka, Chancellor of WSEI University
  • Dr Sylwia Skrzypek-Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences, Professor at WSEI University
  • Małgorzata Banach, Principal of University’s High School of Sports Championships and University’s High School of General Education in Lublin
  • Małgorzata Pielecka-Sikorska, Deputy Principal of University’s Sports Championship High School and University’s High School in Lublin
  • Emanuel Jozefacki, Sports Director at KS Lublinianka, Sports Coordinator at the Academic High School for Sports Championships.

Honorable mention also went to schools and institutions that were particularly involved in educational and patriotic activities. Among the awardees are WSEI University and University’s Sports Championship High School and University’s High School in Lublin, whose governing body is our University.

The parish priest of the Holy Cross parish in Lublin, Rev. Ph.D. Marian Duma, Chairman of the Board of the Social Committee of Residents of Lublin - Bronowice, as well as Chairman of the Bronowice District Board Andrzej Szyszko and Chairwoman of the Bronowice District Council in Lublin Danuta Bochniarz, wrote in the justification:

“This is a diploma of appreciation for reliable, responsible, and far-sighted social work for the benefit of Lublin and the Bronowice district, undertaking and carrying out numerous and varied projects conducive to the development of the local community, stimulating civic, social, and patriotic activity, and strengthening respect for the small homeland, as well as for effective cooperation with many circles, with wishes for all the best and further success.”

Diplomas and awards were presented on February 12 at the LubHotel on Krańcowa Street. The meeting was also an opportunity to summarize the events and investments that took place in the past year and to outline the action plan for the new year.
