WSEI University has signed a cooperation agreement with the Office of Rail Transport

Extensive cooperation in the fields of education, scientific research, and promotional activities, as well as the organization of student internships and joint conferences – these are some of the provisions of the agreement signed on Thursday, March 6th, by the authorities of WSEI University  and the Office of Rail Transport.

We are extremely pleased to have signed this agreement with your University today. It is a bilateral agreement, so we look forward to mutual benefits – on the one hand, the exchange of experience and the joint organization of conferences, and on the other, we warmly invite your students and academic staff to visit the most modern Train Drivers Examination and Monitoring Centre in Europe. This agreement provides an opportunity for your students to undertake internships or traineeships- said Marcin Trela, Vice President of the Office of Rail Transport. What we expect from the University is to provide students – young enthusiasts and future professionals passionate about railways – as well as to share knowledge and experience with your highly qualified and experienced academic staff.

As part of the cooperation, the agreement includes the organization of professional internships for students, co-organization of seminars, scientific conferences, courses, and training sessions, as well as joint research and implementation projects. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to participate in study visits and practical classes organized by the Office of Rail Transport (UTK). The cooperation also covers education, scientific research, and promotional activities.

-The goal of this collaboration is to provide students with opportunities to gain practical experience and better prepare them for the challenges of the labor market. The agreement will also contribute to the development of modern solutions in the field of rail transport and the implementation of innovative technologies - explained PhD Eng. Michalina Gryniewicz-Jaworska, Professor at WSEI University and Dean of the Faculty of Transport and Computer Science at WSEI University in Lublin.

The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of both institutions:

The meeting was also an opportunity to present the University and its educational offer.

-We have a 25-year history. Since the very beginning, we have been building strong relationships with businesses and the socio-economic environment. We were pioneers in obtaining European Union funds, which allowed us to develop a modern laboratory base where our students gain practical knowledge - emphasized Chancellor Teresa Bogacka.

-WSEI University is highly flexible, combining both humanities and economics in its profile. I congratulate you on your strong position and I am pleased with our cooperation -said PhD Eng. Ignacy Góra, President of the Office of Rail Transport.
