The scientific profile is concentrated in four basic spheres.

The first sphere is the problem of the functioning of political parties in the Polish legal order as those social organizations that exert the greatest influence on the exercise of public power.

The second sphere is the normative aspects of state security (mainly: constitutional-legal problems of states of emergency, the principles of interference in the rights and freedoms of man and citizen in states of special danger or modification of the principles of exercising public power, politological and legal determinants of state security).

The third sphere on which he focuses his research attention is the principles of the functioning of the constitutional system of state bodies and local self-government, the mutual relations of state bodies, especially in the context of the principle of separation of powers.

The fourth sphere of scientific and research interests is the problem of the sources of universally binding law (mainly: the Executive Ordinance, the Ordinance with the force of law, the concepts of natural law, the principles of correct legislation and the idea of a democratic state of law).
