Professional profile

She is the initiator and creator, and since its establishment in 2001, the Chancellor of the University of Economics and Innovation in Lublin. As Chancellor, she comprehensively manages the activities of the University. Under her leadership, WSEI has achieved the status of a regional leader among higher education institutions and one of the leading non-public universities in the country.

She began her professional career in government administration, including serving as director at the Interprovincial Center for the Improvement of State Administration Personnel in Lublin.

From 1991 to 1999 at the Lublin Business School - initially deputy director, from 1994 to 1999 vice president of the board. She actively participated in social and economic transformations in Poland. Drawing on the experience of the British, among other things, she helped implement changes in companies related to the transition to a market economy.

Since 1999, President of the Board of Directors of the Polish Foundation of Centers for Assisting Economic Development “OIC Poland”, and since December 2013 Chairman of the Supervisory Board. As President of the Foundation, she established the University of Economics and Innovation in Lublin. The university began its activities in October 2001.

Since 2001, Teresa Bogacka, directing two institutions that are the largest training and research project implementers in Eastern Poland, has carried out more than 100 projects with European funds in excess of PLN 300 million, providing support to tens of thousands of residents of Lublin and other regions of Poland.

She has been repeatedly awarded and honored for her business, social and charitable activities. The most important awards are: Knight's Cross of the Order of Rebirth of Poland for outstanding service to the state and society (2012) and the “LUMEN MUNDI” award established by His Eminence Archbishop Prof. Józef Życiński (2010).
